"I have always loved the mid-century aesthetic of "Catherine Holm" enamelware, born in Halden, Norway. The brightly coloured, everyday utilitarian pieces appeal to my sense of colour and playfulness. I was born in the 1960s, as was the popular Catherine Holm "lotus series", so in a nod to that collection, I decided to feature a red teapot, and in so doing, took a nostalgic trip down memory lane."
