About the workshop

Artist and qualified teacher, Lisa Barry, will guide you through this hands-on 2.5 hour workshop. The workshop is perfect for beginners, but even if you have dabbled in watercolour painting before, you will enjoy and learn something new. With an emphasis on mixing colours and picking up the right amount of paint and water on your brush, you will create a variety of expressive, abstract and colourful patterns.

Learn techniques such as blending, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry, and applying mediums such as salt, to create interesting textures. There is no pressure to create a work of art, just to play and experiment. Lisa encourages creative expression and provides step-by-step instructions, there is no "right or wrong"!

By participating in this fun and engaging activity, you'll embark on a creative journey that will leave you feeling fulfilled and confident in your new watercolour painting skills and take home a framed, unique piece of art that you'll be proud to show off to your friends and family.

While you're painting, enjoy a glass or two of sparkling wine or sparkling water. Nibbles will also be provided.
